Saathiya Movie |
Rani Mukerji and Vivek Oberoi Saathiya sizzled but surely
stirred up some heat on screen in the romantic movie. Vivek Oberoi as Aditya
Sehgal has offer a lot in this film with a touch of charm and exuberance. The
story is based on a man who goes through quite a lot of hardships to find his
lost wife. You will find yourself going along with him searching hospitals and
local trains. You will be as desperate as him to find his missing wife. Rani
Mukerji also did a splendid job in portraying her character of Suhani Sharma
completely different than her counterpart Shalini did in the original Tamil
movie Alayipayuthey. Saathiya actually shows the issues probably every married
couple in India go through. It gives a closure to the relationship and bonding
of the protagonists, way beyond the bubbly first love and how they overcome
their problems to reunite in the end.

Vivek Oberoi Saathiya |
After having a Yash Raj
Films presentation and an A.R. Rahman musical flashing across the screen one
can be sure of the soundtracks of Saathiya Movie being over the top. And Gulzar has written the lyrics. Do I even need
to praise the songs? Rahman had created very soothing and heart-touching
numbers and Shaad Ali did the justice by picturizing them beautifully. Sonu
Nigam’s syrupy soft vocals did the wonder for the title track. The flute solos
during the music intervals are a sure-fire winner, isn’t it? “Aye udi udi” song
with catchy lines rendered by Adnan Sami will give you a fresh breath of air
with beautiful beats playing in the background. Chupke se is a catchy number
with a perfect combination of two opposing melodies that created magic. This
mystical mood setting number is undoubtedly one of the best creations of
A.R.Rehman.

Chupke se chupke se
raat kii chaadar tale
Chaand kii bhii aahat
na ho
Baadal ke piichhe chale
Jale katara katara,
gale katara katara
Raat bhii na hii le
aadhii aadhii
Raat bhii na hii le
aadhii aadhii
Chupke se lag jaa gale
raat kii chaadar tale
It’s been 15 years
since Saathiya and this honest love story still evokes same pure feelings and
holds same freshness.
Mesmerising should come
as no surprise when the screenplay is by Mani Ratnam and dialogues by Gulzar
and they turned a commonplace concept into a pure gem. This film delivers a subconscious message
saying that one life is too short to tell your loved one that how much they
mean to you. With a realistic concept this film will touch every corner of your
heart!
