Latest Bollywood news: Birthday boy Kapil Sharma the comedy king celebrating his 37th birthday today. Kapil was born on April 2, 1981, in Amritsar, Punjab. Kapil's childhood was spent in Amritsar's police colony, so in the early days of Kapil, Kapil used to play Shamsher's character. His father was a head constable. Kapil has to struggle a lot to reach the position he is now. In school days, Kapil used to work on telephone booth for money. Not only this, once Kapil had told in the interview that he had picked up the crates of cold drinks for a few rupees.
To earn money from the very beginning, he started doing some work with studies. Kapil spends crucial part of his life as a theatre artist. There was a time when Kapil's life was got a hard punch from life. In 2004 his father passed away due to cancer.
There was a time when Kapil and his family did not even get something to eat. But Kapil still never gave up. His life changed in 2007 and he got an opportunity to come through the wild card entry in Star TV's comedy show Great Indian Challenge 3.
Kapil won the show on his own strength and he got a reward of Rs 10 lakh. After this, Kapil appeared in the Sony TV show Comedy Circus. Colors TV started a new show with Kapil in 2013, which was named Comedy Nights with Kapil. Kapil was playing a key role in the show. The audience liked this Kapil show. Every big Bollywood actor was sitting on Kapil's show. In addition, Kapil has also tried his luck in films. But their luck did not work there. But Kapil's comedy continues to be the same day as people used to do before.
