Rana Daggubati's Upcoming Movie Haathi Mere Saathi |
Rana Daggubati shared the first look of his upcoming film Haathi Mere Saathi and we can't stop gushing over the poster!
In the poster, Rana's gritty avatar being clad in a rugged outfit and short greying hair and a lathi in his hands looks really convincing. Behind him is a big, majestic elephant with its trunk resting on Rana's shoulders. At first, the actor's look for the movie may take you by surprise as he's still fresh in our memories as the Bhallal Dev from S. S. Rajamouli's Baahubali series of films.
Upcoming film Rana Daggubati’s Haathi Mere Saathi is said to be a tribute of sorts to the iconic actor Rajesh Khanna, who starred in the 1971 classic blockbuster of the same name. But the new one will not be exactly a remake and have a slightly different plot which is inspired by true events. It depicts the pure bond between a man and an elephant.
The first leg of the shooting of Haathi Mere Saathi is scheduled to go on floors this month in Thailand. The Haathi Mere Saathi remake will also be filmed at locations across India, informed trade analyst Taran Adarsh on his twitter handle.
To be directed by Prabhu Solomon, Haathi Mere Saathi remake will mark his directorial debut in Bollywood. The movie is a trilingual project and will be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu versions. Haathi Mere Saathi is expected to be ready for going to theatres during Diwali this year.
Don't we all love how Rana Daggubati manages to look as de-glam as possible but his hotness quotient remains intact?
