Ileana D`Cruz is one of the prettiest talents of Bollywood.  Born in 1st November 1987, Ileana first made her debut in a South Indian movie Devadasu in 2006 for which she was also awarded the best debut actor (female) award. Known for her elegant beauty and good acting, Ileana D`Cruz did many movies for Kollywood and Tollywood down south before making her Bollywood debut with the critically and commercially acclaimed movie Barfi (2012) alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra. Since then, she has acted in a handful of successful Hindi movies and will be seen as a wife of an income tax office in her upcoming movie Raid alongside Ajay Devgn, releasing on 16th March, 2017.

Barfi (2012) –

Ileana D`Cruz kick started her Bollywood career with the movie Barfi released in the year 2012. Directed by Anurag Basu, the movie was one of the biggest hit of that year which grossed over 100 Crores in India made with just the budget of 30 Crores. On the top of that, the movie was immensely appreciated by the critics, especially for the acting of Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra for which they received innumerable number of awards the next year. Though, Ranbir and Priyanka overshadowed Ileana in the movie, Ileana’s role also received lots of praise for which she received the Filmfare award for best debutant actor, female.

 Baadshaho, (2017) –

 Released last year, Baadshaho was a multi starrer movie based on the theme of emergency and gold theft. The movie had strong star cast with the likes of Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, Vidyut Jammwal, Esha Gupta, Sanjay Mishra and Ileana D`Cruz and was directed by Milan Luthria who also directed the super hit movie of Once Upon a Time in Mumbai. However, Baadshaho tanked at box office with average reviews, but Ileana’s acting received good praise as this was the first time she was showcased in a negative role, which she did very well.

Mubarakan, (2017) –

Mubarakan was also released in last year and was an in and out family entertaining and comedy movie starring Arjun Kapoor, Ileana D`Cruz, Anil Kapoor and Athiya Shetty in lead roles. The movie was enormously liked by the audience and also did a fair business at Box office. Ileana, literally the main lead, made everyone laugh with her great comic skills and cute chemistry with Arjun Kapoor.

Main Tera Hero, (2014) –

Main Tera Hero is again a romantic comic movie starring Varun Dhawan, Ileana and Nargis Fakhri in lead roles, released in 2014. The movie, directed by Varun’s father David Dhawan was loved by the audience despite poor reviews from the critics. The movie was a hit and Ileana did a fantastic job yet again with her comical and romantic role.

Raid, (2018) –

One of the anticipated upcoming Bollywood movies of this year, Raid is going to release in the theatres on 16th of March and it stars Ajay Devgn as income tax officer and Ileana as her wife in lead roles. The trailer of Raid was launched on 5th of February and it has received much appreciation from critics as well as the audience. It is again going to a serious, content-driven political action drama, and so far what we have seen from the trailer both the lad actors have really been up to the mark.
